Tuesday English Conversation Class:

Every Tuesday 1pm to 2pm (except school term holidays). For anyone whose first language is not English! Through conversation, activities and games, improve your English conversation skills, meet new friends, and chat with English speaking friends. We welcome people with different levels of English, of all nationalities. For more information, please contact Deborah via the church office.

星期⼆英語會話班：

逢星期二 下午 1 點至2 點 (學校學期休假除外)。歡迎任何非英語為母語人士參加。課程內容主要是透過活動及遊戲，來提升英語對話技巧，在課程中，既可以認識新友，又可以與英語為母語人士閑談。我們歡迎任何國籍、不同英語水平人士參加。欲了解詳情，請透過教會辦公室與Deborah聯絡。

Friday St. Matthew's Life Group:

(every Friday, except school term holidays): 12.30pm to 2.30pm. With a snack lunch provided, meet friends from Hong Kong and other places and learn about British life and culture together. The meeting is bilingual in English and Cantonese.

Sunday WORSHIP:

We meet at 10.30am for worship, bible teaching and prayer. We start all together and then children go to their own group. We enjoy a great time getting to know each other over tea and coffee afterwards. St Matthew’s also runs a youth group for older children.

There is a wheelchair ramp to the side door which gives access to most of the ground floor including a wide door accessible lavatory. There is a lift that provides access to the chapel and thence to the back of the worship area and the crèche. The main floor of the worship area is only accessible via the wide grand staircase (with good hand rails) or shallow steps down from the lift level. The side pews require step access.

Hearing aid induction loop

This covers the whole of the main worship area and is operational at all times that the PA system is in use (use the "T" setting on hearing-aids). This includes the 10:30am service.

Large print

The liturgy and songs for the services are projected onto a large screen and on small screens around the gallery. Large print copies on paper are usually available (technology permitting) from the wardens on request.

Prayer is central to our relationship with God and the delivery of our vision, which reaffirms the aspirations of the St Matthew’s prayer:

Heavenly Father, pour out your Holy Spirit upon St Matthews,
Grant us a new vision of your glory, a new experience of your power,
a new faithfulness to your Word,
a new consecration to your service so that,
through our renewed witness your Holy Name may be glorified and your Kingdom advanced,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
